Isolation with iNPIPE’s plug

iNPIPE PRODUCTS was approached by Petrofac with a view to isolating a 24 inch export riser pipeline while rectification and replacement work took place on the Hewett 48/29C platform off the coast of Great Yarmouth, UK. The integrity of the existing valve and the connection of the flange on the weldolet were in question, and it was impossible to insert a plug to facilitate removal or replacement.
