Construction has begun on Energy Transfer Partners and Kinder Morgan Energy Partners’ 298 km Fayetteville Express Pipeline (FEP), located in Arkansas, United States.
The 42 inch diameter pipeline will transport gas from the Fayetteville Shale producing region in Conway County, Arkansas, eastward to an interconnection with Trunkline Gas Company in Panola County, Mississippi. The pipeline will have a capacity of 2 Bcf/d of gas.
Energy Transfer Partners is managing the $US1.25 billion project and will operate the pipeline. Willbros Group and Sheehan Pipe Line Construction have been contracted to construct the pipeline.
