Enbridge expands pipeline facilities at Christina Lake
Wed, 3 February 2010
Enbridge has entered into an agreement with FCCL Partnership to provide additional pipeline and terminal facilities to support the expansion of the Cenovus Energy-operated Christina Lake Enhanced Oil Project, located in northeast Alberta, Canada.
The additional Christina Lake facilities will include the installation of 26 km of 30 inch diameter pipeline and two 375,000 bbl tanks.
Enbridge’s existing Christina Lake lateral and terminal facilities connect the Christina Lake enhanced oil project to the 540 km Athabasca Pipeline – part of Enbridge’s Regional Oil Sands System.
The Regional Oil Sands System delivers crude oil from five producing oil sands projects to the Hardisty and Edmonton mainline hubs.
