GE Energy appoints new national executive in Canada

GE Energy has appointed former Canadian Federal Government and petroleum industry veteran Keith Triginer as its new national executive in Canada to oversee the company’s commercial activities in the region.
Mr Triginer will be responsible for leading GE’s commercial strategy in Canada as the federal and provincial governments intensify their efforts to modernise the country’s energy infrastructure.
Prior to joining GE, Mr Triginer served as director of strategic policy and emerging issues in the oil, gas and alternative energy division of Environment Canada, the federal environmental agency in Ottawa and also served as vice president of industry issues for the Canadian Petroleum Products Institute after a 25-year career in energy business development with Siemens Canada, Foxboro and Esso.
Mr Triginer is a registered mechanical engineer with Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada Faculty of Business.
