Aker Solutions will supply 240 km of steel tube umbilicals to be installed at Noble Energy Incorporated’s Tamar project, located in the Mediterranean Sea offshore Israel.
Engineering and project management will be provided from Aker Solutions’ Houston office, while manufacturing of the umbilicals will take place at the company’s umbilical facility in Mobile, Alabama.
The delivery is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2011.
Discovered in 2009, the Tamar natural gas find is the largest in the history of Noble Energy.
