Technip wins contract for subsea pipelines in Egypt

Burullus Gas Company has awarded Technip a $US95.7 million engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contract for the West Delta Deep Marine Phase VII development project, located 95 km offshore Egypt in the Mediterranean.
The contract covers turnkey delivery of the tie-in structure between a new gas export pipeline and two existing pipelines. Technip’s operating centre in Oslo, Norway, will execute this contract with assistance from the group’s team in Cairo, Egypt.

Offshore installation is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2010 using the Wellservicer, a vessel from Technip’s fleet.
