TMK receives subsea pipeline certification

Russian steel pipe manufacturer TMK has been awarded Det Norske Veritas (DNV) subsea certification.

Upon receiving DNV-OS-F101 certification, TMK’s production plant located in Volzhsky, Volgograd Oblast, Russia will now be able to produce longitudinal large diameter pipes for large scale subsea pipeline projects such as Nord Stream, South Stream and Shtokman.

DNV-OS-F101 is the Submarine Pipeline Systems offshore code produced by DNV – an independent foundation, which publishes technical provisions and acceptance criteria for general use by the offshore industry.
