ptc 2018 opens Call for Papers
The 13th Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc) has opened Call for Papers for the event, which will take place in Berlin, Germany, on 12-14 March 2018.
Organised by the Euro Institute for Information and Technology Transfer in Environmental Protection (EITEP), ptc will feature presentations on all aspects of oil, gas, water and product pipeline systems.
The topics for the conference fall under three broad categories for both onshore and offshore: planning and construction, operation and maintenance, and special issues.

Speakers are invited to submit a 300 word abstract describing the main ideas covered in the paper as well as a 200 word presenters CV and photo.
Abstracts should not focus on company presentation, but on technical or managerial classifications, research and development, new technologies or recent case studies, and will be reviewed by the ptc Advisory Committee.
Each speaker will have 20 minutes of presentation time, and joint presentations between pipeline operators and technology operators are also welcome.
Presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and distributed to the conference attendees.
All abstracts and papers will also be published in the abstract database.
The deadline for abstract submission is 30 September 2017, with speakers notified by 15 November 2017.
Next year’s conference is being held parallel to the 2nd Pipe and Sewer Conference, which combined will be referred to as the Pipeline-Pipe-Sewer-Technology Conference and Exhibition (PASC).
