Lux Assure appoints new board member

Lux Assure has appointed non-executive director Martin Anderson to its board to represent the investment of the Scottish Investor Bank.

Lux Assure deliver a unique service to the monitoring and management of production chemicals to both upstream and downstream oil and gas activities.

Mr Anderson is a Chartered Engineer and Kinstair Consultants Director, bringing more than 34 years of oil and gas industry knowledge to Lux.

In 1988, Mr Anderson had his first project role with Chevron, and has since held a number of project and senior management positions at Technip Group, Hydrus Group and Triton Group.

He will use his strong leadership skills and experience in developing service models for the asset integrity market to develop and implement a business growth strategy to bring Lux to a global market.

“I am looking forward to working with Lux Assure as the team continues to make great strides in providing innovative solutions to the oil and gas market,” said Mr Anderson.

“Lux’s existing on-site deployable tools, CoMic™ and OMMICA™, are revolutionary in the management of chemicals in hydrocarbons, condensates and water, and the international opportunities for these technologies is huge.

“I’m excited to support the development of these products, both technically and commercially, to help them fulfil their full potential.”
