Rosen becomes first service company to join EPRG

Rosen Group has become the first service company to join the European Pipeline Research Group (EPRG).

Experienced technical representatives from Rosen have joined EPRG’s Design, Corrosion and Materials Committees in a commitment to the safe operation of gas pipelines.

The company is also a member of two other industry research bodies: the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association (APGA) and the Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI).

In May this year, several Rosen representatives presented detailed technical work at the 21st PRCI-APGA-EPRG Joint Technical Meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which featured keynote presentations, research papers, panel presentations and workshops that addressed current issues facing the pipeline industry.

“We have joined EPRG because we are 100 per cent committed to the primary goal of the group, which is to work collaboratively to constantly improve the integrity of gas transmission pipelines,” said EPRG Plenary Committee Rosen representative Erik Cornelissen.

“We believe that what is good for the industry is good for us and it is right that we commit our time and resources to this endeavour.”
